Purpose and expansion possibilities of the system
The VERSA series control panels, including the VERSA 15 model, have been designed to protect small and medium sized premises, combining versatile functionality with system expandability. The main board offers 15 expandable inputs up to 30, with a choice of NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL/NO and 2EOL/NC configurations, as well as an additional tamper input and support for rolling shutter and vibration detectors with presence monitoring.
The system can be divided into 2 zones, with three surveillance modes in each zone and user- or timer-based control. Keypads, readers and expansion modules can be connected to the communication bus, allowing the system configuration to be tailored to the needs of the facility.
Communication, control and utility functions
VERSA 15 has a built-in telephone communicator with functions of monitoring (SIA, ContactID and others), voice messaging (8 numbers, 16 messages) and remote programming via a 300 bps modem. The control panel works with GSM/GPRS modules, enabling voice and SMS messaging, SMS/GPRS monitoring and remote control of the system.
The system can be controlled using LCD or LED keypads (up to 6), VERSA-LCDM-WRL wireless keypads (VERSA 15 v1.04 or later firmware required) and VERSA-KWRL2 (VERSA 15 v1.09 or later firmware required), as well as INT-TSH210, INT-TSH2R and INT-TSG2R touchscreen keypads (VERSA 15 v1.10 or later firmware required) and remote controls. The control panel supports up to 31 passwords (30 users and 1 installer), allows name editing, has 4 timers with exception handling, 2047 event memory and automatic diagnostic functions for basic system components.
Power supply and environmental parameters
The VERSA 15 is equipped with a built-in 2A switching power supply with overload protection, total battery discharge protection and adjustable battery charging current. In addition, there are 3 power supply outputs and from 4 to 12 programmable outputs, including high-current and low-current outputs with specific load capacity.
The control panel is designed for operation in environmental class II, with a temperature range of -10 to +55 °C, with a rated supply voltage of 18 V AC (±10%) and a panel power supply voltage of 12 V DC (±10%). The currents consumed in standby and at maximum load are precisely determined, which facilitates the design of the installation's power supply.
