Tigo Energy was founded in 2007 by a group of technologists from Silicon Valley in Los Gatos, California. Using their patented impedance matching method, Tigo Energy developed a leading performance optimization technology for smart modules. This technology allows for up to 25% better utilization of roof and open space, as well as unequal string lengths and various module orientations on the same MPP input of the inverter.
