Hi I need to change my dsc control panel HS2064. Do I need to change the keypad which is used to set the alarm or I can still use the present one? Thank you

You can usually keep using your current keypad when replacing the control panel with the DSC HS2064, as long as the keypad is compatible with the PowerSeries Neo system. The HS2064 panel is part of the PowerSeries Neo family, which supports the following keypads:

  • HS2LCD
  • HS2LCDP
  • HS2ICN
  • HS2ICNP
  • HS2LCDRF (if wireless functionality is required)

If your current keypad is from an older DSC system (e.g., PowerSeries), it may not be compatible with the HS2064 since PowerSeries Neo panels require keypads specifically designed for the Neo system. In that case, you will need to replace the keypad with a compatible Neo model.

To confirm compatibility, you can check the model number of your current keypad or consult the DSC HS2064 manual.
