AGD-200W Wireless Glassbreak Detector for ABAX 2/ABAX System

The AGD-200W is a wireless detector designed to detect glass breakage from regular, tempered and laminated glass, working with ABAX 2 and ABAX systems. The device uses advanced dual-track signal analysis, offers adjustable sensitivity, a built-in temperature sensor and low power consumption powered by a CR123A 3V battery.

  • Glass breakage detection of plain, tempered and laminated glass
  • Dual-track, multi-frequency acoustic signal analysis
  • Compatible with ABAX 2 and ABAX wireless systems
  • Adjustable detection sensitivity with built-in microphone
  • Built-in temperature sensor with measurement from -10°C to +55°C

Application and detection functions

The AGD-200 detector is designed for perimeter protection by detecting the sound accompanying the breakage of plain, tempered and laminated glass windows. Advanced dual-track (multi-frequency) signal analysis allows the detector to effectively distinguish the characteristic sounds of breaking glass from other acoustic disturbances.

The device is equipped with detection sensitivity adjustment, which allows you to adjust the operating parameters to the specifics of the room and the type of protected glass. The detector's detection range is up to 6m, which allows it to protect windows and glazing in typical residential and office spaces.

Integration with ABAX 2/ABAX system and radio communication

AGD-200 works with ABAX 2 system controllers (ACU-220 and ACU-280) and ARU-200 retransmitter, as well as with ABAX system controllers (ACU-120, ACU-270, ACU-250, ACU-100 version min. 4.04), INTEGRA 128-WRL control panel and ARU-100 retransmitter. The required software version of each device should be checked each time in their descriptions on the manufacturer's website.

The range of radio communication in open space is up to 2000 m in ABAX 2 system with ACU-220 controller and up to 1200 m with ACU-280, while in ABAX system it is up to 500 m. Radio communication in the ABAX 2 system is encrypted in the AES standard, which increases the security level of data transmission between the detector and the controller.

Energy efficiency, power supply and status monitoring

The detector has low power consumption - standby current consumption is 90 µA and maximum current consumption is 25 mA. Power is provided by a CR123A 3 V lithium battery, the state of which is constantly monitored by the device, facilitating ongoing maintenance of the system in full operation.

The "ECO" option available in the ABAX 2 system allows the device to operate on a single battery up to four times longer, with an expected battery life of up to 2 years. The detector is equipped with an LED that indicates violations in test mode, as well as tamper protection against opening the housing and detachment from the ground. The device is available in different color versions: white (AGD-200), brown (AGD-200 BR) and dark gray (AGD-200 DG).
