CR-MF5 - keypad with MIFARE proximity card reader
CR-MF5 is a keypad with built-in MIFARE proximity card reader, designed for use in alarm and access control systems. The device can operate in several modes, including as an INT-SCR partition keypad in INTEGRA systems, an ACCO-SCR terminal in ACCO NET/ACCO systems, a module for third-party systems and a standalone passage control module.
- User identification based on code and/or MIFARE proximity card.
- Built-in MIFARE (13.56 MHz) card reader supporting Ultralight, Classic and DESFire (EV1/EV2/EV3).
- Supports OSDP 2.2 protocol on RS-485 bus and INT-SCR, ACCO-SCR and Wiegand interfaces.
- Capable of operating as a standalone passage control module with support for up to 128 codes and 128 cards.
- Operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and housing that allows indoor and outdoor installation.
Applications and modes of operation
The CR-MF5 can act as an INT-SCR partition keypad in the INTEGRA alarm system. In this mode, it enables, among others, arming and disarming, clearing alarms in a partition, opening a passage, controlling output types 24 (MONO switch) and 25 (BI switch), confirming guard rounds, activating temporary partition lock, unlocking ATM access and changing the user's code. It also provides functions without the use of a password or card, such as rapid arming, calling an alarm from the keypad, silencing an alarm on the keypad, controlling access to a single passage, and activating an additional function using the BELL function key.
In ACCO NET or ACCO systems, the device works as a keypad with ACCO-SCR proximity card reader. It allows you to open a passage, lock or unlock a passage, activate an additional function using the BELL key, and configure settings using the ACCO Soft (ACCO NET system) or ACCO SOFT-LT (ACCO system) programs. In third-party systems, the CR-MF5 can operate as a keypad with a proximity card reader with a choice of OSDP (RS-485) or Wiegand communication interface, with the ability to trigger an additional function using the BELL key.
Standalone functions and design
In standalone mode, the CR-MF5 passage control module provides support for up to 128 codes and up to 128 proximity cards. Functions triggered by a code or card include opening a passage, locking or unlocking a passage, changing a code by a user, and the ability to specify the number of uses for a given card or code. In addition, activation of an additional function using the BELL function key is available.
The device is equipped with a relay output for controlling an electric strike, magnetic jumper or other device activating the passage, an input monitoring the door status and an input for an open button. The keypad has white backlighting of 12 keys for code entry and one function key, three LED indicators, built-in sounder with adjustable volume and optical tamper protection against opening the housing and detaching from the wall. Installation is possible both indoors and outdoors.
