ADD-200 wireless ABAX 2 dusk and temperature detector
ADD-200 is a wireless dusk-to-dawn and temperature detector designed to operate in a two-way ABAX 2 system. The device provides precise measurement of light intensity and temperature with configurable tripping thresholds.
- Light intensity measurement in the range of 2-250 lx
- Temperature measurement in the range of -20°C to +55°C
- Two-way encrypted radio communication in the 868 MHz band (AES)
- Radio communication range in open areas up to 2000 m (with ACU-220)
- IP65-rated housing with high mechanical strength
General description
The ADD-200 detector detects changes in light intensity (dusk sensor) and changes in temperature (temperature sensor), which allows to automate the functions of the alarm system and automation control. It is designed to work with ABAX 2 wireless system controllers: the ACU-220 and ACU-280, as well as the ARU-200 retransmitter.
The device uses encrypted two-way radio communication in the 868.0-868.6 MHz band, with diversification of transmission channels (4 channels), which allows automatic selection of an interference-free channel. Thanks to the built-in LED, local signaling is possible, and the "ECO" option, which can be activated, allows to extend battery life.
Features and capabilities of the detector
The ADD-200's twilight sensor allows measurement of light intensity in the range of 2 to 250 lx, with a choice of one of 16 detection thresholds and resistance to short-term and random changes in lighting. The temperature sensor performs measurement in the range of -20°C to +55°C, and the temperature threshold is programmable, allowing the device to be used for overheating or frost protection functions, among others.
The detector supports remote software update and remote configuration of operating parameters from the system level. The device conducts battery status monitoring, signaling the need for battery replacement, and the IP65-rated housing provides weather resistance and high mechanical strength, allowing the detector to be used in demanding environmental conditions.
