B-2FLF recessed magnetic detector with flange
The B-2FLF reed detector is designed to detect the opening of doors, windows and other movable elements in burglary and robbery alarm systems. The device is made in a flanged recessed version, so it remains invisible from the outside after installation and is available in white (B-2FLF) and brown (B-2FLF BR) color versions.
- Magnetic reed detector for perimeter protection
- Recessed mounting with round flange
- Diameter of detector housing 15 mm
- Operating temperature range from -10 to +55 °C
- Design suitable for operation in environmental class II according to EN50130-5
Application and mounting
The B-2FLF magnetic detector is designed to detect the opening of doors, windows and similar items by controlling the position of the magnet relative to the reed switch. Thanks to recessed mounting in the door leaf or woodwork frame, the detector elements remain invisible after closing, which preserves the aesthetics of the premises. The detector's housing is medium-sized with a round flange and a diameter of 15 mm, which facilitates installation in standard openings.
The model comes in two color versions: white (B-2FLF) and brown (B-2FLF BR) to match the color of windows or doors. The use of an NC-type reed switch allows it to work with typical control panels, in which the supervisory circuit is short-circuited when closed. The cable length of 450 mm makes it easy to bring the signal to an installation box or a junction strip.
Operating parameters and environmental resistance
The B-2FLF detector is characterized by specific actuation distances of the reed switch contacts, which allows proper alignment of the magnet element with respect to the reed switch element. The contact closure distance is 13 mm, while the opening distance is 18 mm, which defines the safe operating range of the set. The dimensions of the magnet housing and the reed switch housing are 6.3 x 18 mm, which makes it easy to drill the appropriate mounting holes.
The device is suitable for operation in temperatures from -10 to +55 °C with a maximum humidity of 93±3%, which allows the detector to be used in typical indoor conditions defined as environmental class II according to EN50130-5. The maximum switching voltage of the contacts is 100 V, the maximum load power is 10 W, and the maximum switching current is 500 µA, with a maximum contact resistance of 200 Ω. The weight of the device is 8 g, which is important for installation in components with limited mechanical strength.
