CR-MF3 - MIFARE 13.56 MHz proximity card reader
The CR-MF3 reader is a multifunctional access control terminal that supports MIFARE proximity cards. It can work with INTEGRA control panels, ACCO/ACCO NET systems, systems from other manufacturers and operate as a standalone passage control module.
- Built-in 13.56 MHz MIFARE card reader (Ultralight, Classic, DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3)
- Support for OSDP 2.2 protocol (RS-485) and Wiegand interface
- Additional EM-Marin interface for system operation SATEL
- Standalone operation mode with support for up to 128 proximity cards
- Relay output for controlling an electric door strike or magnetic jumper
Applications and modes of operation
The CR-MF3 reader can act as a proximity card reader in the INTEGRA alarm system when connected to the INT-R reader expander, enabling you to, among other things, arm and disarm, clear an alarm and open a passage. In ACCO NET or ACCO access control systems, connected to an ACCO-KP series access control module, it performs the functions of opening and locking and unlocking the passage. In systems from other manufacturers, the device can operate as an OSDP (RS-485) or Wiegand reader, providing flexible integration with existing access control infrastructure.
In standalone mode, the CR-MF3 acts as a standalone passage control module, supporting up to 128 proximity cards. In this variant, it is possible to define the functions of opening, locking and unlocking the passage, as well as to specify the number of uses of a given card. A relay output allows direct control of an electric strike, magnetic jumper or other executive device, while dedicated inputs allow monitoring the door status and connecting an open button.
Design, security and signaling
The CR-MF3 is equipped with a built-in MIFARE proximity card reader, supporting Ultralight (CSN/SSN), Classic (CSN/SSN/MSN) and DESFire (EV1/EV2/EV3, CSN/MSN) cards, with a reading range of up to 45mm for the MC-DF3-2 encrypted card. Three LEDs provide operational status and system events, and a built-in, volume-adjustable sounder provides audible feedback to the user. Optical tamper protection prevents the device from opening the housing and detaching it from the wall, increasing the security level of the installation.
The terminal is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation, with a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and a maximum humidity of 93±3%. Programming and configuration of the device can be carried out using dedicated CR Soft software or MC-SRV-8 service card, which facilitates implementation and possible future configuration changes. With standard communication interfaces and compact dimensions, the reader can be easily integrated into various security systems.
