SO-MF5-B - touch keypad with MIFARE card reader for INTEGRA, ACCO and other manufacturers' systems

SO-MF5-B is a touch keypad with built-in MIFARE proximity card reader, designed to work with INTEGRA alarm systems, ACCO NET/ACCO access control and systems from other manufacturers. The device can also operate as a standalone passage control module, offering advanced access control functions.

  • Operation in four modes: INT-SCR (INTEGRA), ACCO-SCR (ACCO NET/ACCO), OSDP/Wiegand, standalone mode
  • Built-in MIFARE® proximity card reader (Ultralight, Classic, DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3)
  • Touchscreen keyboard with white backlight, 12 numeric keys and 2 function keys F1 and F2
  • Supports up to 128 codes and 128 cards in standalone mode
  • Can be mounted indoors or outdoors, in black (SO-MF5-B)

Applications and modes of operation

The SO-MF5-B can function as the INT-SCR partition keypad in the INTEGRA alarm system, enabling, among other things, arming and disarming, clearing alarms in a partition, opening a passage, controlling "MONO/BI switch" type outputs, confirming guard rounds, temporarily locking a partition, unlocking ATM access and changing a user's code. There are also functions without using a password or card, such as quick arming, calling an alarm from the keypad, silencing an alarm in the keypad, controlling access to a single passage, and activating an additional function with the F1 key.

As a keypad with ACCO-SCR proximity card reader in ACCO NET or ACCO systems, the SO-MF5-B allows you to open a passage, lock and unlock a passage, and activate an additional function using the F1 function key. Configuration of settings in this mode is done using ACCO Soft (for ACCO NET) or ACCO SOFT-LT (for ACCO system), which facilitates integration with existing access control infrastructure.

Standalone functions and communication interfaces

When operating in third-party systems, the keypad provides a choice of OSDP (RS-485 bus, OSDP protocol version 2.2) or Wiegand communication interfaces, so it can be used as a universal access control component. Support for the OSDP protocol is available, as well as the ability to trigger an additional function using the F1 function key, providing flexibility in system logic design.

As a standalone passage control module, the SO-MF5-B supports up to 128 codes and 128 proximity cards, and using a code or card, it is possible to open a passage, lock and unlock a passage, change a code by a user, and specify the number of uses of a card or code. The keypad has a relay output to control an electric door strike, magnetic jumper or other device that activates the passage, an input to monitor the status of the door, and an input for an open button, which makes it possible to build a compLetable access control point without additional modules.

Construction, signaling and security

The device features a touch-sensitive keypad with white backlighting, including 12 keys for code entry and 2 function keys F1 and F2, as well as a built-in MIFARE® proximity card reader operating at 13.553...13.567 MHz. Supported are Ultralight (CSN/SSN), Classic (CSN/SSN/MSN), and DESFire (EV1/EV2/EV3) cards in CSN/MSN mode for compatibility with popular ID media. Four LED indicators and a built-in beeper with adjustable volume allow for clear signaling of states and events, while an OC-type output (BELL) controlled by the F1 key allows for additional external signaling.

The SO-MF5-B has optical tamper protection against opening the housing and against detachment from the wall, which increases the security level of the installation. The ability to be mounted both indoors and outdoors, with a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and a maximum permissible humidity of 93±3%, allows use in diverse environmental conditions. The model is available in two color versions - white (SO-MF5-W) and black (SO-MF5-B), making it easy to match the aesthetics of the facility.
