XD-2 is a universal wired detector from SATEL, which works with any control panel. The device can operate in several modes: as a magnetic, shock, shock with magnetic and water flooding detector.

Application and modes of operation of the XD-2 detector
XD-2 is a detector designed for intrusion alarm systems, especially for perimeter protection of doors, windows and rooms prone to flooding. Thanks to the ability to select the mode of operation by means of DIP- switchesswitch, the same device can perform different functions, which facilitates the design and modernization of installations.
In magnetic detector mode, the XD-2 detects the opening of doors, windows and other moving elements, while in shock mode it reacts to shocks and vibrations accompanying attempts to forcibly break through the secured elements. Shock and magnetic mode combines both functions, providing simultaneous detection of attempts to balance and open. In the water flood detector mode, the device works with the FPX-1 external probe (available in white, brown and dark gray color versions), enabling early detection of water leakage in rooms with plumbing.
Montáž, environmental resistance and accessories
The XD-2 detector can be mounted indoors, and when placed in the OPX-1 housing, it is also suitable for outdoor operation in adverse weather conditions. The manufacturer has provided for the possibility of cooperation with the hermetic magnet OPXM-1, which should be used when mounting outdoors in modes requiring cooperation with the magnet. Two magnets are included - for surface mounting and for recessed mounting - which makes it easy to adapt the installation to the type of substrate and design of the protected element.
The device is equipped with an LED for signaling, with the ability to turn it on and off remotely, as well as a power voltage monitoring system. Sabotage protection protects the detector against opening the housing and detaching it from the ground. By meeting EN 50130 and EN 50131 standards and Environmental Class II, as well as Grade 2 protection, the XD-2 is suitable for use in systems requiring a certain level of security according to European standards.
