Description and purpose of the RK-4K SMA controller
The RK-4K SMA radio controller is designed for remote control of electrical devices connected to relay outputs, such as parking barriers, gates or roller shutters. Thanks to its operation in the 433.05 ÷ 434.79 MHz frequency band, the device works with remote controls, allowing convenient remote control.
In addition to the functions of a typical radio controller, the RK-4K SMA is equipped with inputs and outputs designed for cooperation with a control panel. This makes it possible to use it for remote control of the alarm system, as well as for transmitting information about the armed and alarm status.
Alarm system integration features
The controller has two inputs for monitoring the status of the alarm system corresponding to standby information and alarm information. Additional OC-type outputs allow flexible transmission of signals to other system components. Signaling functions include low-battery indication of the remote control and signaling of arming and disarming and alarm clearing in the alarm system.
A built-in LED makes it easy to observe the device's operation locally, and a tamper contact that responds to the opening of the housing increases the security level of the installation. With the ability to configure using a computer with RK Soft installed, the installer has access to advanced settings of the controller.
Design and power supply
The RK-4K SMA is equipped with an SMA connector for connecting an external antenna, which allows the radio range to be optimally adjusted to the conditions of the facility. The kit comes with 2 T-4 remotes from the factory, making the system ready to operate immediately after installation and basic configuration.
The device can be powered by both DC voltage in the range of 12...24 V DC (±10%) and AC voltage of 24 V AC (±10%). Low standby and maximum load current consumption values facilitate integration into existing power supply infrastructures.
