GPRS-A LTE - universal monitoring module GSM/LTE
GPRS-A LTE is a universal monitoring module for burglar alarm and automation systems, equipped with a phone operating on 2G, 3G and 4G networks. The device offers event monitoring, extensive notification capabilities and IoT functions using open communication protocols.
- Standalone operation or as part of an intrusion alarm system
- Support for 2G, 3G and 4G cellular networks (LTE/HSPA+/EDGE/GPRS)
- 8 programmable digital (NO/NC) or analog inputs
- 4 outputs (2 NO relay, 2 OC type) controlled locally and remotely
- Support for open IoT protocols: MQTT, JSON, JSON/HTTP, MODBUS RTU
Monitoring applications and functions
GPRS-A LTE can work autonomously or cooperate with any control panel, performing event monitoring by connecting to the panel's dialer or properly configured outputs. The module allows monitoring of events using SMS or LTE transmission, as well as conversion and retransmission of event codes received from other devices, simulating the operation of a telephone monitoring station.
The device allows sending notifications to up to 8 phone numbers in the form of SMS, CLIP or PUSH. The module has an input for AC power control, can supervise the presence of power voltage and report events to the monitoring station or directly to end users. There is also a function for checking the balance of the pre-paid account and notifying of exceeding the set limit of funds.
Integration with automation and IoT
The module's eight inputs can be configured as digital (NO/NC) or analog, allowing it to work with a wide range of external devices such as temperature, pressure or humidity sensors. The GPRS-A LTE supports the 1-Wire bus, allowing the connection of up to eight DS-T1 or DS-T2 digital temperature sensors, as well as defining responses to exceeding thresholds from analog inputs or 1-Wire sensors.
The module can send measurement data using MQTT, JSON, JSON/HTTP and MODBUS RTU protocols, allowing the construction of environmental parameter supervision systems in cold stores, warehouses, production halls and other facilities under the Internet of Things (IoT) concept. It is possible to configure automatic responses, such as switching on heating when the temperature drops below the set value, by changing the states of the outputs accordingly.
Remote control and configuration
GPRS-A LTE offers 4 programmable outputs: two OC-type and two NO-type relay outputs, which can be controlled remotely via SMS, CLIP (up to 10,000 numbers), apLication of mobile GX CONTROL, GX Soft program or via IoT interface. The module can act as a remote control for the alarm system or other automation devices.
Programming and configuration are carried out using a computer with GX Soft software. Connection to the module can be local, via RS-232 (TTL) port, or remote, using data transmission over the cellular network. The device works with apLikation of mobile GX CONTROL, and remote software (firmware) update is possible through integration with UpServ update server. The module can be powered from dedicated APS-412 or APS-612 power supplies, among others.
