PRF-LCD-WRL is a wireless keypad designed for daily operation of PERFECTA series control panels. The device communicates bidirectionally in the 433 MHz band and meets Grade 2 security requirements according to EN 50131.

PRF-LCD-WRL keypad application and functions

The PRF-LCD-WRL keypad is used for everyday operation of PERFECTA 16-WRL, PERFECTA 32-WRL, PERFECTA-T 32-WRL, PERFECTA-IP 32-WRL and PERFECTA 64 M alarm panels equipped with PERFECTA-RF module. With large keys, an easy-to-read LCD display and LEDs informing about the status of zones and the entire system, operation is convenient and clear for all users, regardless of their experience with alarm systems.

The keypad, in addition to the standard numeric keys, also has function keys for quick activation of the selected surveillance mode: day, night or full. From the keypad it is also possible to trigger three alarms: robbery, fire and help, which increases the security level of the protected objects. The attractive appearance of the device allows it to be aesthetically integrated into the decor of residential and office premises.

Wireless communication and event signaling

The PRF-LCD-WRL uses two-way encrypted radio communication in the 433.05 ÷ 434.79 MHz frequency band. The range of radio communication in an open area is up to 200 m, which allows for flexible placement of the keypad in the facility in relation to the control panel. The device meets the Grade 2 security requirements of EN 50131, and its environmental class according to EN 50130-5 is II, which confirms its ability to work in typical indoor conditions.

The keypad offers backlighting of the display and keys for easy operation in low-light conditions. In addition, audible signaling of selected system events is available, including violations, alarms or entry/exit delays, as well as signaling of loss of communication with the control panel. This keeps the user informed about the status of the alarm system.

Power supply and operating conditions

The PRF-LCD-WRL keypad's primary power source is two CR123A type batteries of 3V each. In electronics version 2.2 or later, it is possible to use the optional APS-055 AC adapter with output voltage of 5 V DC, which allows wired power supply with simultaneous battery relief. The maximum battery current consumption is 55 mA, while in standby the battery current consumption drops to 4 µA. When powered by a power supply, the maximum current consumption is 48 mA.
