Intended Use

This complete set of electromechanical drives with articulated arms is designed for residential swing gates. Suitable for gate wings up to 2 meters in length (or 2.5 meters with the use of an electromagnetic lock). The maximum weight of a single wing should not exceed 300kg. The FAAC Energy 391 starter kit is the perfect solution for wide gate posts.

Description

The complete set is based on reliable and time-tested FAAC 391 actuators. This kit is intended for automating swing gates with wings up to 2.5m in length and a weight of up to 300kg, which allows it to handle a gate opening of up to 5m. The FAAC 391 articulated actuators are suitable for any type of post, whether metal or made of brick.

• To ensure proper operation, make sure that the distance between the gate hinge and any wall or fence edge exceeds 725 mm.
• For single-wing gates, use the 391 E drive. For double-wing gates, use the 391 E and 391 drives.
• NOTE: Thanks to modern technologies, the E024S control unit is only compatible with the XF 433/XF 868 transmitter and XP20BD photocells (BUS connector).
• FAAC does not supply Pb batteries. Required batteries: 12V/4Ah with dimensions 90x70x108mm.
• Thanks to its compact design, the 391 drive is quick and easy to install without the need for costly adaptations.
• The actuators are equipped with a convenient and safe release system that allows you to open or close the gate wings using a personal key in the event of an electrical or actuator failure.

FAAC XF 868 Radio Module

XT4 868 SLH Remote

• Operates at 868MHz in the LR (Long Range) version with an extended operating range. This system is much more resistant to interference, thus working more efficiently. The range of the remotes is up to 200 meters (in ideal conditions).
• Self-Learning Hopping (SLH) code allows programming from one remote to another without needing access to the receiver.
• The signal sent from the remote is secured by a Rolling Code system with 70 trillion combinations – this is a dynamically random changing code.

XP20BD Photocells

The set includes a pair of photocells (1 transmitter + 1 receiver) with an adjustable viewing angle, suitable for surface or column installation.
