Purpose

FAAC XT4 FDS dual-channel remotes are the safest transmitters on the market today and the first FAAC Phygital transmitters. They can be used in existing SLH systems, successfully replacing the XT4 868 SLH LR remotes

XT4 FDS remotes are self-copying remotes (remote control from remote control).

Description

FAAC XT4 FDS remotes feature maximum protection against cloning. This is ensured by an advanced security scheme based on Secure Vault hardware technology (PSA certified - Level 3) and TrustZone, which is a state-of-the-art way to secure digital financial transactions and IoT High Security devices/networks

The FDS remotes have a distinctive look with a more modern aesthetic and can be protected by optional color covers. The shape guarantees greater ergonomics, and the finish is of exceptional quality

New cardboard boxes minimize the use of plastic packaging, and full instructions and video tutorials are available exclusively in digital format

FDS (FAAC Digital Signature) - is a frequency modulation-based radio protocol with the highest performance in terms of range and battery life; radio transmission is secured by the AES-128 symmetric encryption algorithm with a 128-bit key. The authenticity of the remote controls is verified with a chain of personalized FAAC security certificates

Thanks to integration with Simply Connect, full remote management is possible without the need for dedicated tools or being on site - it is possible

• Adding individual transmitters or groups of transmitters via Matrix-Code
• Deleting, enabling, disabling transmitters
• Managing time bands
• To add individual remote controls to Simply Connect - the Matrix-Code can be found on the back of the remote control, on the electronics label and on the packaging. Automations do not have to be online. In this case, the updated list of remotes will remain "pending" until it goes back online and is later confirmed by the installer or managing user

• Dual frequency: transmitters and receivers can communicate at 868 MHz or 433 MHz with time division. There is no need to select the operating frequency in advance, which simplifies the management of installation/maintenance activities
