AAV 100 antifreeze valve - protecting the installation from frost

AAV 100 valve is designed to protect heating and cooling systems, especially in heat pump systems of the type monobloc. It is installed close to the outdoor unit, both on the return and supply pipe, to protect the sensitive components of the system from freezing of the medium. When the temperature of the medium drops to approx. **3 °C**, the valve opens, allowing the fluid to flow out and relieve system pressure. When the temperature rises above approx. **4 °C**, the valve automatically closes

Installation and operation tips

• Regularly check the condition of the valve, especially after prolonged periods of inactivity
