The Wilo-Stratos MAXO Smart Premium pump is a glandless Inline pump with the highest efficiency, equipped with an EC motor and an advanced electronic capacity matching system. The unit is designed for use with hot water, cold water and water-glycol mixtures. Depending on the type of pump, the energy efficiency index (EEI) is ≤ 0.17 or ≤ 0.19

An advanced control system makes it possible

• Wilo-Dynamic Adapt plus: automatic, constant power adjustment to the system requirements (factory setting) - allows energy savings of up to 20% compared to dp-v control mode
• Constant temperature control (T-const.)
• Constant differential temperature control (dT-const.)
• Rotary flow optimization through Multi-Flow Adaptation - communication with several pumps
• Constant flow mode (Q-const.)
• Differential pressure control - both dp-c (at the remote point) and dp-v with the possibility of a nominal operating point setting

Additional features of the pump include heat and cold volume recording, automatic shutdown at zero flow (No-Flow Stop), and switching between heating and cooling modes - realized automatically, externally or manually. The pump allows adjustable flow limitation thanks to the Q-Limit function (Qmin and Qmax setting), and supports the operation of dual pumps through optimized operation (basic mode and reserve mode). The system remembers and allows restoration of settings (up to 3 points) and indicates failures and warnings in text form

The unit is equipped with automatic venting of the rotor chamber, operates in the night lowering mode, has a non-locking function and full motor protection, and detects dry operation. A graphical 4.3-inch color display, operated by a single button, shows the type of control, setpoint, flow rate, temperature, power consumption, current consumption and other factors affecting pump operation (e.g. STOP, No-Flow Stop signals)

The Smart Premium version also offers

• 2 configurable analog inputs (supporting 0-10 V, 2-10 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA and standard PT1000) with +24 V DC power supply
• 2 configurable digital inputs (e.g., Ext. Off, Ext. Min, Ext. Max, heating/cooling mode, manual override, operation interlock)
• 2 configurable relays for signaling operation and failure messages
• Wilo CIF module slot with interfaces for building automation (optional: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, LON, PLR, CANopen)
• Wilo Net system for communication between Wilo products (including Multi-Flow Adaptation, dual pump integration and Wilo-Smart Gateway)
• Integrated temperature sensors
