The Wilo-Stratos MAXO Smart Premium pump is a glandless Inline pump with the highest efficiency, equipped with an EC motor and an electronic capacity matching system. The unit is suitable for hot water, cold water and water-glycol mixtures, offering a very low energy efficiency index (EEI) - ≤ 0.17 or ≤ 0.19, depending on the pump type
With advanced control capabilities, the pump offers multiple modes of operation, including
- Automatic power adaptation to system requirements (Wilo-Dynamic Adapt plus - factory setting) with energy savings of up to 20% compared to dp-v control mode
- Constant temperature control (T-const.)
- Constant differential temperature control (dT-const.)
- Rotary flow optimization (Multi-Flow Adaptation) through communication between pumps
- Constant flow (Q-const.), constant differential pressure (dp-c) and variable differential pressure (dp-v) modes, with nominal operating point setting possible
- Constant speed (n-const.) and user-defined PID control
In addition, the Smart Premium pump offers a number of smart features, such as
- Heat and cold quantity recording
- Automatic shutdown when zero flow is detected (No-Flow Stop)

The unit features an easy-to-read graphic color display (4.3 inches) and an intuitive one-button manual operation module for reading and setting operation data (control type, setpoint, flow, temperature, power consumption, current consumption) and running protocols via Bluetooth and the Wilo-Assistant app
The Wilo-Stratos MAXO Smart Premium Pump is equipped with two configurable analog inputs (supporting 0-10 V, 2-10 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA and standard PT1000 signals) with +24 V DC power supply, two digital inputs, two relays for operation and fault signaling, and a Wilo CIF module slot for integration with building automation systems (optional: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, LON, PLR, CANopen). The Wilo Net communication system allows several pumps to be connected and double pumps to work together
In addition, the unit offers an automatic fail-safe mode that sets a defined speed in emergency situations (e.g., when communication is shut down or when sensor readings are faulty), and the ability to recognize analog signal wire breaks. The pump is suitable for outdoor operation with adequate protection from climatic factors, and the date and time are set in series. Thermal insulation covers for use in heating systems are also included
