Description and application
Huawei SUN2000-600W-P is an intelligent PV optimizer designed for operation with a single photovoltaic module of up to 600 W (under STC conditions, the rated module power must not exceed 1.05 times the rated input power of the optimizer). The device allows individual module maximum power point tracking (MPPT) over a wide voltage range to reduce losses due to shading or module mismatch.
The optimizer works with Huawei SUN2000 single-phase and three-phase inverters in a wide power range, including the SUN2000-2/3/3.68/4/4.6/5/6KTL-L1 series, SUN2000-3/4/5/6/8/10KTL-M1, SUN2000-12/15/17/20KTL-M2 and SUN2000-30/36/40KTL-M3, among others. The solution allows you to design longer module chains with full optimization and increase the flexibility of configuration selection.
Security and communication
The Huawei SUN2000-600W-P enhances the safety of PV installations with a function that quickly reduces the optimizer's output voltage to 0 V in the event of an open DC circuit or inverter shutdown. If the optimizer itself is damaged, it is bypassed and the PV module can continue to operate in the chain.
The device communicates with the inverter via MBUS, which makes it possible, among other things, to automatically map optimizers in the system and locate possible faults at the individual module level. The optimizer complies with the IEC 62109-1 safety standard (safety class II) and complies with the RoHS directive.
