VASCO Adiabatic Channel Humidifier

Intended for installation on a horizontal supply air duct to rooms (direct installation on an insulated 200 mm HRV duct).

Operates on the principle of evaporating water, which is moistened by a fiberglass matrix. Operation is controlled by a wireless room controller located in a reference room (living room), which signals the need to increase humidity. On the other hand, a sensor in the supply air duct after the humidifier ensures a safe relative humidity level of the supplied air (max. 70%).

The humidifier housing is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene). At the bottom, there is a chamber with a water valve, control system, and DC power supply. They are protected by an EPP cover. On the left and right sides, there are 200 mm internal diameter duct connections – corresponding to the diameter of insulated HRV ducts.

The constant operation of the humidifier is ensured by a PTC electric heater (semiconductor with a self-regulating current consumption function) activated automatically when necessary, so that water does not drip in the ventilation ducts (the temperature of the supplied air must be maintained above the dew point).
