AI description and features
The NVR4000-EI series is a new generation of NVRs that offers high decoding performance and high bandwidth, and the DHI-NVR4108HS-EI model additionally provides high precision face recognition, perimeter protection and SMD (Smart Motion Detection) functions. The DVR uses WizSense technologies based on deep learning algorithms to detect, track and optimize faces, recognizing features such as gender, age group, glasses, facial expression, mask and facial hair, and filtering out false alarms generated by the movement of irrelevant objects. DVR-side AI supports 1 channel of face detection and recognition, 2 channels of perimeter protection with 10 IVS rules per channel, and 4 channels of SMD PLus, while camera-side AI supports face detection and recognition, perimeter protection, SMD, people counting, stereo analysis, heat map and ANPR, among others.

The DHI-NVR4108HS-EI supports 8 IP video channels with resolutions up to 16 MP, including 12 MP, 8 MP, 6 MP, 5 MP, 4 MP, 3 MP, 1080p, 720p, 960p, D1 and CIF, with a maximum bandwidth of 80 Mbps for incoming, recording and output streams.
