Introducing the Wilo Sub TWU 4-0409-C multi-stage submersible pump, a fully submersible unit designed for pumping water from deep wells. With radial or semi-axial impellers of segmented design, the pump can be mounted both vertically and horizontally (a cooling jacket is required for horizontal mounting). Equipped with built-in backflow protection, it is ideal for installations where the unit must operate continuously submerged

The motor, which is corrosion-resistant, operates on AC or three-phase induction current for direct starting (DOL). It is filled with a mixture of water and glycol, hermetically sealed, with enamel windings and impregnated with resin, and the bearings are self-lubricating. Cooling of the motor is carried out through the pumped medium, which guarantees stable operation of the device

Purpose

The device is dedicated to pumping water from deep wells with a maximum immersion depth of up to 200 m and a maximum sand content of 50 g/m³
